Thangamayil Jewellery established on 1947, by Mr. N Balusamy Chettiar, father of our founder members Mr. Balarama Govinda Das, Mr. Ba. Ramesh and Mr. N.B. Kumar. A modest propreitory concern initiated in the name of Balu Jewellery @ Swami Sannathi Street in Madurai. On having a firm control in the operations, he handed over his legacy to his sons (founder members), during the late seventies. Further relocated the showroom to South Aavani Moola Street, in a 100 sq. ft. premises.

The firm widened its wings and incorporated as Private Limited Company, on March 2000. Further charmed as Thangamayil Jewellery Limited on November 2007, by incorporating as Public Limited Company.

Objectives of the Company

Customers world over are becoming conscious about the jewellery they buy. Before making a purchase, they are concerned that the jewellery should meet ethical standards, their extraction should not harm the environment and that indigenous people and workforces should not be exploited. These concerns have been addressed by the global jewellery industry and there are many initiatives being taken to protect the environment and the communities in places where gold and diamonds are mined.

Thangamayil Jewellery has concern for the people, customers, community, market and environment. Though our goal is maximising returns on investments, we would never pursue commercial success at the expense of the communities in which we operate.

We aim to design and manufacture quality jewels in the most cost-efficient manner and distribute them through our chain of jewellery shops all over Tamil Nadu. With an outstanding level of sales and delivery service, incapable of being matched by our competitors, we strive to increase our market share. Tata gold plus

Titan Industries’ Goldplus is designed for the jewellery preferences of the semi-urban and rural Indian customer. With a presence in 31 towns spread across 6 states, Goldplus is the largest jewellery retail chain in Tamil Nadu.

In addition to gold jewellery, the brand also offers impressive designs embellished with diamonds, American diamonds (Cubic Zirconia) and other precious stones. The Goldplus jewellery comes with the assurance of purest 22-karat (916) and 18-karat (750) gold and premium craftsmanship. Every Goldplus product is endorsed by a certificate that states the purity of the gold and the quality of diamonds used in the article.

The elaborate and intense quality checks during the manufacturing process ensure the purity of gold and a perfect finish. The gold is purchased in the form of bars from only those banks that are certified by Reserve Bank of India (RBI). Using this gold, jewellery is crafted in Titan Industries’ manufacturing units in Hosur, Tamil Nadu where highly skilled artisans create traditional and modern designs.
